Paneltec Pty Ltd is seeking a Plumber to join our team. This role would suit a reliable, safety-focused person with strong practical skills, civil construction experience, and the ability to work effectively with a team in a busy site environment.

The successful applicant will be involved in civil plumbing, pipe laying, drainage, site preparation, and general construction duties across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain large piping systems for water distribution, wastewater, sewerage, stormwater, and drainage works.
- Carry out pipe laying, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation activities.
- Inspect sewerage systems and stormwater drains, clear blockages, and assist with leak repairs.
- Operate pumps, compressors, power tools, and other construction equipment.
- Assist with excavation activities and general civil construction labouring as required.
- Load, unload, move, and manage construction materials, tools, and equipment on site.
- Erect barricades, assist with trench shoring, and follow all Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering plans, site drawings, As-builts, and specifications.
- Work outdoors in diverse weather and site conditions while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Previous experience in civil construction, plumbing, drainage, pipe laying, or similar works.
- Current White Card.




- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to work in confined spaces where required.
- High level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual labour.
- Competency using power tools and construction equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors and project managers.
- Certificate III in Plumbing or related trade Qualification

Desirable Qualifications

- Certificate IV in Plumbing, Drainage, or a related trade qualification.
- Current plumbing registration or relevant industry licence.
- Medium rigid heavy vehicle licence.
- Excavator competency or experience operating earthmoving equipment.
- Experience using hydro/vacuum excavation equipment.
- Experience working with water, sewer, stormwater, and civil infrastructure projects.
