Experienced Medical Receptionist – Part-Time | Epping

We are seeking a professional, experienced and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, well-established medical practice conveniently located opposite Epping Station.

This permanent part-time position is ideal for someone looking for consistent weekday and weekend hours in a supportive and patient-focused workplace.

Working Hours:

- Wednesday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Some flexibility for additional days may be required when others are on leave

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while delivering exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Answering incoming telephone calls and managing patient enquiries
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Processing payments and liaising with Medicare and private health providers
- Maintaining accurate patient records and database management
- Scanning,



filing and general administrative duties
- Providing administrative support to doctors and the practice team
- Opening and closing the practice as required

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a busy medical practice
- Must have experience using medical software: Best Practice or Medical Director
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- A calm, organised approach with the ability to multitask effectively
- A professional presentation and a genuine commitment to patient care
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team
