The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a WHS Advisor to join the team on an initial six-month contract to support a significant business project and broader safety initiatives across the site.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, this role has been created to provide dedicated WHS support while key internal resources focus on the delivery of a major project. You'll partner closely with operational leaders to ensure day-to-day safety activities continue to run seamlessly, maintaining strong compliance standards while driving practical safety outcomes on the ground.
With a strong operational focus, you'll be exposed to a broad range of safety responsibilities including contractor management, traffic management, working at heights, incident investigations, training and ongoing compliance initiatives. You'll work closely with both frontline leaders and employees to embed a proactive safety culture and provide practical, solutions-focused advice across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of day-to-day WHS initiatives across the site.
Maintain and update safety documentation, procedures and compliance records.
Coordinate safety training, inductions and toolbox talks.
Conduct workplace inspections,



audits, risk assessments and hazard identification.
Support the management of high-risk work activities, including contractor management, traffic management, permits to work and working at heights.
Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide practical coaching and WHS advice to frontline leaders.
Support ongoing compliance with WHS legislation and internal safety management systems.
Contribute to the successful delivery of a major business project while maintaining robust operational safety outcomes.
