This full-time locum position offers a 3-month contract where you will utilise your expertise in adult safeguarding to manage complex cases and support vulnerable adults across the community.

What you will do:
Manage complex adult safeguarding cases.




Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with statutory requirements.
Complete Care Act assessments and reviews.
Conduct Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions.
Work collaboratively with health specialists, care providers, and partner agencies.
Develop safeguarding plans and risk management strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
Represent the local authority at safeguarding meetings and multi-agency forums.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Social Work England registration is essential.
Recognised Social Work qualification.
Significant post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care.
Strong knowledge of the Care Act , Mental Capacity Act, and Adult Safeguarding legislation.
Proven experience managing complex safeguarding casework.
Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
