We're seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join a well-established team delivering a 125-lot residential subdivision in Ipswich. With Stage 3 commencing immediately after the current works, you'll enjoy genuine continuity of work into 2027.

The Opportunity

Immediate start

Ipswich area, QLD

Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as required

Long-term project pipeline with work secured into 2027

The Project

You'll join a 125-lot residential subdivision currently in its final delivery stages and finishing works. Following completion, you'll transition directly into Stage 3, of a major civil package comprising sewer, stormwater, roadworks, retaining walls and landscaping.

About the Role

As the Leading Hand, you'll lead from the front, ensuring crews remain productive, safe and focused while working closely with the Supervisor and Project Engineer.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading site crews and coordinating subcontractors
- Planning daily activities and allocating work




- Maintaining programme and productivity
- Monitoring quality and compliance
- Coordinating plant, materials and deliveries
- Completing daily reports, dockets and production records
- Promoting a strong safety culture across site

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

- 6+ years' experience in civil construction
- Residential subdivision or land development experience
- Proven ability to lead crews and subcontractors on site
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and productivity
- Experience completing daily site paperwork, plant records and dockets
- White Card
- Current First Aid Certificate
