The Job
We looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Hervey Bay. You'll be responsible for safely delivering timber and trade products to building sites and customers across the region. You will be supporting our busy trade operations and ensuring Bretts' commitment to service, safety, and professionalism is upheld every day.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating company trucks to complete safe and efficient deliveries.
- Loading/unloading goods using safe manual handling practices.
- Providing excellent customer service to builders and site managers.
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle pre-start checks.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for people who are reliable, physically capable, and take pride in both their driving and teamwork.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A current MR driver's license.
- Experience in delivery driving, ideally within construction, trade, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of safe manual handling practices and basic WHS requirements
- Physically fit - capable of lifting and moving materials safely.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
