A unique opportunity combining clinical treatment with occupational health has become available to work as part of the CS Health team in the Lithgow office.
As a Physiotherapist / EP / OT with Coal Services Health, you will work 1:1 with our customers and together as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, aiming to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of our NSW Coal Workers, their families, and communities. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to provide professional services including:
- Expert functional assessment for coal mine workers in our purpose build simulation area
- Onsite early intervention services
- Musculoskeletal treatment for workers compensation, Medicare and private clients in our well-equipped gyms
- On site assessment and consultancy services for coal industry customers including underground and open cut mine sites
- Delivering educational and other preventative health interventions such as 1:1 healthy lifestyle programs and onsite presentations to workers.
- Case management and assessment as a workplace rehabilitation provider (SIRA)
About you:
Your education, knowledge and skills will include:
- Recent graduates welcome to apply.
- You will have excellent clinical reasoning skills and ability to treat musculoskeletal conditions autonomously
- Experience in an occupational health or mining is an advantage but not essential, we provide onboarding and induction to the mining industry.
- Experience in developing and presenting education and preventative health packages
- High standard report writing skills and associated level of computer literacy is essential.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to work as part of a team (essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills (essential)
- Exceptional time management (essential)
- Demonstrated initiative in quality improvement activities (desirable).
- Driver's license (essential)
