About the Opportunity
UGL is seeking an experienced E&I; Supervisor to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone. This is a 4-month contract on a 2:2 roster (12 hour days) commencing ASAP. You will provide critical support during the execution phases of a major LNG turnaround, driving execution, leading frontline teams and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of Electrical & Instrumentation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of E&I; Technicians and Electricians to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
- Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
- Efficiently allocate resources, equipment and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HV activities, including daily reports, progress reports and required project documentation.
About You
- Proven experience as an E&I; Supervisor within LNG/Oil & Gas Turnaround environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with E&I; Planning & Execution (mandatory).
- Experience working in Tier 1 or major shutdown environments.
- Working knowledge of JDE and CMMS-based job planning systems (highly desirable).
- Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy (Power BI and web-based tools advantageous).
- Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives.
