We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our NSW team and lead the successful delivery of demolition and civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll take full ownership of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with clients, engineers, site teams, subcontractors and senior leadership while driving commercial outcomes and maintaining strong customer relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading teams, solving problems and delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage demolition and civil construction projects from award through to completion.
- Lead project planning, programming, budgeting and delivery.
- Monitor project costs, productivity and commercial performance.
- Manage contract administration, claims and project variations.




- Develop and implement project management plans, risk assessments and SWMS.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, performance and invoice approvals.
- Ensure compliance with Delta Group's Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
- Prepare monthly project reports including financial performance and risk registers.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Mentor and support Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Cadets.
- Assist with tender reviews, pricing and identifying future project opportunities.

About You

- You are a proactive leader with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to successfully deliver complex construction projects.
- Minimum 6+ years' experience managing demolition, civil or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of contract and commercial management.
- Excellent planning, programming and cost control skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships.
- Solid risk management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- High level of computer literacy.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a commitment to safety and quality.
