Senior Civil Design Engineer – Land Development

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with strong 12d expertise to join our growing civil engineering team.
About the Role
As a Senior Civil Design Engineer in our Land Development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil design solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
You will work collaboratively with project managers, drafters, and external stakeholders to deliver projects from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare civil designs for land development projects including roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer, and water reticulation
Develop and review 12d models, drawings, and documentation
Coordinate with surveyors, planners, architects, and local authorities
Assist with design approvals and authority submissions
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and client requirements
Support project delivery within agreed budgets and timelines
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
About You
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in land development/civil designin Victoria
Strong proficiency in 12d Model (12d) software
Solid understanding of local design standards and authority requirements
Experience delivering subdivision and infrastructure projects
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
RPEQ / CPEng (or working toward chartership)
Water and sewer DAS accreditations
Experience liaising directly with clients and councils
Knowledge of construction processes and site experience
