Help build the technology powering Australia's largest EV charging network.
What you'll be doing
As a Software Engineer, you'll play an important role in designing, building and maintaining features across the Chargefox platform. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that improve the experience for our customers.
Building recent features in our Ruby on Rails platform
Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
Collaborating with Product and Design to bring recent ideas to life
Participating in code reviews and learning from experienced engineers
Supporting the reliability, performance and stability of the platform
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys building quality software, is curious by nature, and values collaboration just as much as technical capability.
You'll ideally bring:
Around 2+ years' commercial experience developing with Ruby on Rails
A solid understanding of web technologies, REST APIs and databases
A strong focus on writing clean, readable and maintainable code
The confidence to ask questions,



learn quickly and take ownership of your work
Great communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
Bonus points if you've worked with:
Domain Driven Design (DDD)
Docker or other containerisation technologies
Hotwire or Stimulus
