Pilbara Business Development Executive
We currently have an excellent opportunity available to drive the success of the Europcar WA business by delivering effective account management and pursuing current business development opportunities within the Pilbara Region.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this is a pivotal role within the business.
This role will be based in either Port Hedland or Karratha.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and growing new business opportunities along with local account management of existing accounts, nurturing and developing their overall strategic value to the business.
The Pilbara BDE ensures robust relationships are formed and maintained to the highest level to achieve the business objectives.
Motivated and driven, your demonstrated experience and exposure to the Pilbara region, customer service and proven track record in sales will ensure you are able to hit the ground running in this chance.




Exceptional time management skills coupled with your passion for sales will support your success in this 'hands on' role.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Achieve the individual objectives of the strategic sales plan
Account management and retention / growth
New business development activity and conversion targets
Undertake travel and field sales activity throughout the Pilbara region
Attend networking and corporate hospitality functions
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a business to business sales role
Proven sales / business development experience within the Pilbara market is ideal
Excellent communication skills and sound interpersonal skills with experience in influencing others
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
Previous management experience within the car / truck rental industry and / or plant / asset is preferred
Relevant WA industry knowledge of the resources, construction, maintenance, renewables and transport industries and knowledge of various regional economies
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol test.
