Kedron Dental Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated team member to join our growing practice.

This is a casual position offering approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.

About the Role

As one of the first people our patients see and speak to, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience from the moment they contact our practice until they leave.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients with warmth, professionalism and empathy
- Managing appointments and maintaining an efficient appointment book
- Answering phones and responding to patient enquiries
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Managing recalls and helping patients book treatment appointments
- Supporting the dentists and wider team throughout the day
- Chairside dental assisting when required
- Assisting with sterilisation and infection control during quieter periods




- General reception and administrative duties

Every day is a little different, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, likes staying busy and is always happy to lend a hand.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience working in a dental practice, either in reception, dental assisting or a similar role
- Previous dental reception experience is preferred, but not essential
- Dental assisting experience is highly regarded
- Experience with Dental4Windows is preferred, but not essential
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, reliable and enjoys keeping things running smoothly
- Has strong attention to detail
- Can remain calm and positive in a busy workplace
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
- Takes pride in providing exceptional patient care
