Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support to clients with daily tasks, personal care, and community access, helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence.
- Foster a positive program culture grounded in RFQ’s values of empowerment, trust, compassion, resilience, and respect.
- Maintain accurate and timely records using digital tools and follow organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment through open communication and regular participation in team meetings.
- Respond flexibly to rostered duties and supervisor directions, ensuring consistent and reliable client support.
- Identify, report, and assist in managing hazards, incidents, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in supervision and professional development to continually build your skills and knowledge.
You will have:
- Experience,
or the ability to provide quality support to people with mental illness, helping them achieve their goals within organisational requirements.
- Diploma in a human services related field; or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent and demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and record-keeping skills using office and mobile technologies, as well as access to a smart phone suitable for work purposes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, contribute to a positive, collaborative culture, and reliably meet schedules, timelines, and defined outcomes.
- Open driver’s licence, access to a registered vehicle and smartphone suitable for work.
- Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a positive notice and Yellow Card pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
