About the Role
Perth‐based, full‐time (5 days a week) role on a 12‐month contract.
The Subsea Engineer provides subsea engineering support to the Lead Subsea Engineer.
Responsible for optimizing subsea equipment and services planning, costing and operations.
Ideal Candidate Criteria
Engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years of drilling and completions related subsea engineering experience.
Working knowledge of industry standards such as DNV, API, ISO, etc.
Experience and demonstrable track record with participation in formal safety assessments (HAZID), HAZOPS and operational risk assessments.
Experience in subsea operations, contractor management, installation planning, and operational improvement.
Robust subsea engineering knowledge, including XT (Christmas tree), IWOCS (Installation Workover Control System), TBIRS (Through BOP Intervention Riser System),
OWIRS (Open Water Intervention Riser System), and ROV systems.
Familiar with Light Well Intervention (LWI) planning and execution.
Skilled in well engineering support, risk management, technical reviews, and safety assurance.
Experienced in tendering, contract management, and supplier engagement.
Proficient in subsea package management, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
Robust stakeholder, supplier, and contractor management skills.
Basic understanding of drilling, completions, and NOPSEMA regulatory requirements.
Candidate Eligibility
