About the role
As a Senior Accountant, you will go beyond traditional number‐crunching, providing valuable insights that help our clients thrive.
You will analyse financial information, prepare financial reports, and maintain meticulous records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for the Firm's clients.
Beyond the numbers, you'll collaborate closely with Partners and mentor junior team members, making a meaningful impact both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare clear, concise and accurate work papers that serve as evidence of work performed and the foundation for decision making.
Apply your knowledge of the client's business workplace and industry positioning to deliver tailored advice.
Act as a mentor/buddy to graduates, sharing your knowledge and helping them with their work, to shape the next generation of accountants.
Prepare financial statements that comply with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards.
Prepare documentation for Partners for client meetings and presentations.
Research, identify and resolve all complex accounting issues.
Prepare and analyse management accounting reports.
Conduct detailed reviews of tax and FBT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
Business / Commerce degree with Accounting major (essential).
Completion of CA or equivalent (desirable).
2 to 3 years in a similar role.
Strong communication skills.
Robust attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
