About our client

Our client is a cabinet manufacturer that has supplied cabinetry to project builders and renovators across Western Australia since 1997. The business provides a supportive working workplace where employees are trusted to manage their responsibilities while receiving guidance from management and the wider team. Its operations cover cabinet and stone top production, site measurement, installation support, quality inspection and service work. Long-term relationships with project builders have been developed through a strong focus on customer service, measurement & product accuracy, production coordination and response to site requirements.

About the opportunity

An opportunity is available for a qualified Cabinet Maker to join the business as a Site Measure, QC & Service Technician. This is a field-based position where approximately 95% of your time will be spent onsite, travelling directly to scheduled building sites throughout Perth. Each day, you will receive a Google ‘Runsheet’outlining and mapping your site visits. You will work independently while remaining supported by the office, production and management teams.

In this role, you will:

- Complete electronic site measurements with high accuracy
- Maintain quality standards across cabinetry installations
- Reduce production errors, rework and project delays
- Provide onsite service to builders and project teams
- Resolve minor cabinetry and installation issues
- Meet with clients & onsite project mangers.

Using builders' plans as a guide,



you will complete final electronic measurements usingFlexiJettechnology. You will upload measurements and site information through the company’s software so the production team can prepare cabinetry for manufacture. Following the cabinet installation by independent contractors, you will return to site to inspect completed work, identify defects, communicate issues and complete minor repairs or adjustments where required. You will also liaise with builders, project managers and installation contractors to support the completion of each project.

About you

We are seeking a qualified Cabinet Maker with onsite installation experience and the ability to manage measurements, inspections and service work without direct supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A trade qualification in Cabinet Making
- A current White Card
- Experience working on residential or commercial building sites
- Cabinet installation experience
- The ability to interpret builders' plans and cabinet detailed working drawings
- Experience completing final manufacturing measurements
- Knowledge of cabinet construction, repairs and adjustments
- Experience conducting post-installation quality inspections




- Confidence using mobile technology and software
- Communication skills for builders, contractors and project managers

You will have worked with objectives involving measurement accuracy, defect identification, reduction of rework and response to site issues. Attention to detail, practical problem-solving and the ability to make decisions onsite will be required.

What’s on offer

This position provides permanent full-time employment, a company vehicle and direct travel from home to scheduled building sites. The working week is Monday to Friday, with start and finish times determined by the dailyrunsheetand project requirements.
