We are seeking an experienced and motivated Orchard Supervisor to support the Orchard Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of our orchard.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining practical field work with team supervision, operational planning and administration. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, productive and efficient orchard operations while fostering a positive team culture.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety is essential, as ensuring the wellbeing of our people remains our highest priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead and train orchard staff and contractors
- Ensure work programs are completed safely, on time and within budget
- Monitor productivity and performance to achieve operational targets
- Maintain compliance with WHS, quality and operational procedures
- Participate in daily orchard activities and field operations
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings as required
- Maintain accurate farm records and operational documentation
- Assist with administration including irrigation records, spray diaries and data management
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across orchard operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a large-scale orchard or agricultural operation
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the horticultural industry
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Well-developed organisational and problem‑solving skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Flexibility to work weekends,
shift work and on‑call arrangements during peak seasonal periods
- A willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
