PartsCheck is Australia's leading automotive parts procurement software marketplace. We built how Australia orders auto parts. Our finance team is small, efficient, and high-performing — and we're looking for an Accountant to join us three days a week.
What you'll be doing:
Own the month-end close — accruals, journals, P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and management accounts
Be the day-to-day point of contact for our external tax accountants — coordinating the ITR, FBT, and R&D; tax incentive claim
Manage the audit process — prepare the records, handle requests, keep it moving
Maintain the rolling cash flow forecast and provide weekly updates to the Head of Finance
Provide direction and quality review for the Bookkeeper
What you bring:
4+ years' experience in an accounting role
You've owned a month-end close before
Comfortable dealing with external accountants and auditors independently
Advanced Xero and Excel proficiency — essential
CA or CPA qualified, or working toward it — desirable but not essential
Comfortable using AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow
Self-directed — you won't need to be told what to do each day
