Palmers Glass & Carpentry is seeking a skilled and experienced Frameless Glass Installer/Glazier to join our team on a full-time basis in Gladesville, NSW. This is a hands-on role that plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality glass installations to our valued clients. You will be responsible for the precise installation of frameless glass systems, including shower screens, balustrades, splashbacks and other glazing applications. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern materials and techniques whilst contributing to the reputation of our business for excellence and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

Install frameless glass systems including shower screens, balustrades, glass partitions and architectural glazing

Measure and prepare installation sites with accuracy to ensure precise fitting of glass components

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to execute installations according to customer requirements

Utilise specialised tools and equipment, including glass cutting, drilling and fastening systems

Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety standards, building codes and quality benchmarks

Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, managing glass and associated materials responsibly

Communicate effectively with clients, providing professional advice on glass products and installation options

Troubleshoot issues on site and implement solutions to maintain project timelines

Maintain accurate records of completed installations and materials used

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Glazier or Frameless Glass Installer, ideally in residential and commercial applications

Strong knowledge of glass types, handling procedures and industry-standard installation techniques

Proficiency with specialised glazing tools, including glass cutters, drills and fastening systems





Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail, ensuring installations are accurate and aesthetically pleasing

Physical fitness and capability to lift, carry and work with heavy glass panels and materials

Current and valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites

Strong commitment to health and safety practices on site

Excellent customer service skills and professional communication abilities

Relevant qualifications or certifications in glazing or glass installation (preferred)

Experience with frameless glass balustrades and shower screen systems (preferred)
