Acacia Furniture is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our growing commercial furniture manufacturing team.

This is an opportunity to apply your cabinet-making skills across a wide variety of custom and specialist work. Our projects include curved laminated table bases, custom storage units, intricate in-desk powerbox lids, veneer work, solid timber edging, Furniture Linoleum and mitred joinery.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership qualities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our production processes.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assembling custom cabinetry, table frames and seating
- Manufacturing and upholstering desk screens, including curved upholstered screens
- Working with a range of benchtop and desktop materials, including veneer, high-pressure laminate, solid timber and Furniture Linoleum
- Producing custom cabinetry and joinery to a high standard
- Using hand tools and machinery, including edgebanders and panel saws
- Reading and interpreting drawings and job specifications
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
- Checking that completed work meets our quality standards
- Working cooperatively with the wider production team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Ideally have at least a Certificate III in Cabinet Making
- Have experience manufacturing high-quality cabinetry or joinery




- Have excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Be reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
- Be interested in learning new processes and contributing ideas for improvement

Working Hours

Standard working hours are:

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am-3:30 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am-1:00 pm

Optional overtime may be available. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements with the right applicant.
