An prospect exists for a dedicated and motivated person to become a qualified Service Technician within the turf industry, servicing golf courses and facilities maintenance customers as our main customer source.
This role is located at Toro's Braeside site, in Melbourne's South East.
Successful applicants will gain a trade qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology and gain a wide variety of experience on precision turf equipment and other Ag-based products.
You will be joining a supportive team of experienced OEM technicians, learning both in the workshop and out in the field.
You will have the prospect to rapid track your learning through product-specific training and system based technical training.
You will be equipped with the skills needed to forge a strong career as a technician within the Turf industry and beyond after completing a trade qualification.
This is a busy and varied role.




Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, as an Apprentice Service Technician, you will work as part of a team in conjunction with our senior technicians and will work across new equipment builds as well as servicing, testing and repairing a range of turf equipment products ensuring the equipment conforms with company operating specifications and customer requirements whilst adhering to strict safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong aptitude for learning.
Ability to interact with customers and colleagues.
Good communication skills.
Completed Year 10 Education, or higher-grade completion of schooling.
A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
