Program Support Officer - Infrastructure

Troocoo is seeking an experienced Program Support Officer Infrastructure to support the development and continuous improvement of portfolio and project management practices across a complex infrastructure environment.

Working within a Portfolio Management Office, this role will help develop practical frameworks, methodologies, governance arrangements, templates and capability initiatives that improve the consistency and effectiveness of infrastructure project delivery.

You will work closely with project managers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to strengthen organisational capability, embed better ways of working and support improved portfolio outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Support the development and implementation of project and portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, templates and guidance materials
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, governance arrangements and ways of working
- Analyse portfolio performance trends and provide practical recommendations
- Coordinate lessons learned activities and maintain knowledge resources
- Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, coaching resources and capability initiatives
- Provide specialist advice on project governance, planning, risk management and delivery practices
- Support portfolio assurance activities, health checks, maturity assessments and reviews
- Build collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary infrastructure and project delivery teams
- Promote consistent adoption of project management standards and continuous improvement practices

About you

You will be an experienced portfolio, program or project management professional with a strong background in infrastructure, capital works or another asset-intensive environment.

You will also bring:

- Experience supporting capability uplift, project improvement or enablement functions
- Strong knowledge of methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP or P3M3
- Experience developing and delivering training, workshops, coaching or capability programs
- The ability to influence stakeholders and support the adoption of recent ways of working
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- A practical and collaborative approach to continuous improvement
- Experience using tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, MS Project or Excel will be highly regarded
- Government, transport, utilities, health or complex infrastructure experience will be highly regarded.
