Casual Support Workers – Disability Services

Delta Community Support is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred services across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community programs. We are currently looking for Casual Support Workers to join our team across Brisbane North /South locations, and Community Access programs.

We currently have the following vacancies:

Supported Independent Living (SIL) – All SIL staff must be available for 2 sleepover shifts each week & Community Access supports

- Brisbane North – Service areas: Chermside → Mango Hill

In these roles, you will work directly with people with disability to provide protected, respectful, and empowering support. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers, depending on the role.

Your duties will include:

- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.
- Transporting clients to medical appointments, community activities, and social events.
- Supporting clients to access the community and achieve their goals.
- Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and following behaviour strategies.
- Completing accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation.
- Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for clients.

We’re looking for people who have:

- Experience in disability, community,



or aged care (NDIS experience preferred).
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
- Unrestricted driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
- Availability for varied shifts, including weekends, overnights, and required sleepovers (SIL only).

Essential Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- QLD Driver’s Licence (P2 Green or higher)
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia
