About the Role

In this position, you will:

- Implement and deliver infrastructure projects across server, network, cloud, and security technologies.
- Maintain and support critical server and network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance and adherence to best‑practice standards.
- Lead advanced technical escalations from the Service Desk for complex or high‑impact issues.
- Drive vulnerability remediation and security uplift activities across client environments (including Essential 8 alignment).
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients,



providing guidance and clear communication.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with both depth of expertise and robust people skills:

Core Experience & Technical Skills

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical services or MSP engineering role.
- Advanced troubleshooting capability across server, networking, cloud and security technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Server, Active Directory/Entra, Intune, M365, Defender, and Azure‑based services.
- Demonstrated experience with network infrastructure (Cisco, UniFi) and firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Familiarity with VMware, Hyper‑V, Veeam backups, patching workflows and change management.
- Ability to execute project work including scoping, documentation, testing, snapshot/rollback planning and client communication.
- Exposure to or interest in uplift programs such as the Essential 8 or ISO 27001.
