About the Role:
The primary purpose of the Operations Technician’s role is to become a part of a team that will manage the integrity, security and value of an IT asset from the moment it arrives at our facility to when we organise its dispatch.
We are looking for someone who is available to work day shifts (from 8.00am to 4.00pm), Monday to Friday. This role requires someone who can work quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality. Main Responsibilities:
Be actively involved in all Quality, Compliance and WH&S; programs and activities
Assisting in the collection of IT assets from other suppliers and the delivery back to the warehouse receiving team
Receiving goods, completing chain of custody, secure and safe storage, assigning location and unique ID in the warehouse
Sanitise the data bearing device according to supplier specifications and isolate faulty equipment for Hard Drive Management
Pick and Package processed items for resale for our customer’s orders
Consolidating scrap and commodities for rapid dispatch
Ensure that a high standard of quality is maintained throughout all systems and processes
Assist with completing deployment reporting including daily, customer sign off and asset reports
The Position Requires the Following Attributes:
Forklift Licence (High Reach) required
Experience working as part of a team
Demonstrable ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel in particular)
Physically fit and energetic, manual handling required
Ability to maintain accuracy while processing high volumes of assets
Basic understanding of laptops and computer hardware.
Clear Police record (a police check will be required before commencing)
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
LR or HR Driver Licence
Experience in quality control or production-based environments
Previous similar experience in the ITAD industry
