Due to continued growth, we're looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join a highly respected fire protection contractor with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service across Melbourne. This is a service-focused role offering a great mix of fault finding, maintenance, commissioning and technical work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.

You'll be joining a stable, well-established team known for its supportive culture, quality workmanship and long-standing client relationships. What You'll Be Doing

- Service, maintain and inspect fire alarm systems and Emergency Warning & Intercommunication Systems (EWIS)
- Program, commission and fault-find across a range of fire alarm panels including Ampac, Notifier, Simplex and Pertronic
- Carry out system interrogation, diagnostics and detailed defect reporting
- Test, service and install emergency and exit lighting systems
- Complete preventative maintenance in accordance with AS 1851-2012
- Complete digital job reporting and maintain accurate site records
- Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call roster

What We're Looking For

- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- Open Cabling (Communications)



Licence
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Strong experience servicing and fault-finding fire alarm systems
- Sound knowledge of AS 1851-2012 and relevant Australian Standards
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills across multiple panel brands
- Professional presentation with a strong customer service focus
- Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
