BGW Group is a well-established, family-owned Australian business supporting a national network of wholesale brands, including CNW Electrical, Samios Plumbing and Sherriff Electrical Wholesalers.

We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our IT Systems Support team onsite at our Head Office in Pinkenba. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day technical support across end-user hardware, software, systems and networks. You will be providing remote support to approximately 1600 users across more than 150 branch locations throughout Australia, helping ensure our users can complete their work with minimal interruption while receiving a high-quality support experience.

To be successful you will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to excellent customer service, effective time management and prioritisation, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Ideally, you will have at least 1–2 years commercial IT experience, or working knowledge, across the following areas:

- Setup/Diagnose/Support hardware – PCs & Laptops (Dell/Lenovo), Printers (HP), Mobile devices (Apple/Honeywell), Network switches & Wi‑Fi access points (Aruba), etc.
- Administration of Windows 10/11 and Windows Serveroperating systems




- Administration of Microsoft services (On-Prem & O365): Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Remote Desktop, Exchange, Teams, etc.
- Support/Diagnose LAN & WAN data networks, including working with third party service providers
- Phone & Mobile technologies and concepts (SIP PBX, MDM - Omnissa Workspace One, Honeywell Mobile Computing)
- Maintain security standards: Internet Proxies (ZIA), Multi-factor Auth (DUO), Anti-virus (SentinelOne), Email (Abnormal Security), Zero Trust (ZPA)
- Helpdesk request tracking & technical documentation (HelpSpot)
- Providing support to remote areas over the phone & remote desktop software (VNC/RDP)

Preference will be given to candidates that possess:

- Higher education qualifications in Information Technology (Cert IV, Diploma, Degree)
- Experience with ERP systems
