About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy mobile plant and equipment across mining and civil operations. As part of a highly skilled team, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment reliability, productivity, and safety for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct scheduled and unplanned maintenance on a range of heavy plant and equipment, including excavators, dozers, graders, trucks, and more
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Perform overhauls and rebuilds of major components
- Complete maintenance documentation and service records




- Work collaboratively with clients and your team to minimise downtime
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards

About You

- Trade qualification and previous experience as a Mobile Plant Mechanic
- Previous mine site inductions and mining industry experience is highly regarded
- Current Driver’s License
- Current Order 45 Medical or willing to complete
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy plant and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi, and Komatsu experience is highly regarded
- In depth knowledge of Caterpillar SIS and ET are desirable
- Commitment to safety, quality, communication, and teamwork
