We're currently seeking an experienced Switching Operator to deliver essential services across WA.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, scope, and execute Switching Programs to enable secure access to the Western Power network
Prepare and submit eNARs for planned outages, identifying isolation points to reduce customer impact
Collaborate with the planning team to optimise scheduling and minimise project delays
Communicate effectively with customers and businesses regarding upcoming planned outages
Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all field operations
Qualifications
Cert III in Distribution Overhead, Cable Jointing, or a WA Electrical Licence
Current Western Power Switching Authorisation
HV & LV Switching qualifications on Western Power's Network
Trained and experienced with substation switching on Western Power's Network – desirable
Valid driver's licence (HR preferred)




EWP and High‐Risk Work Licences (DG, LF, CV or higher)
