We are currently seeking a Senior Manager - Marketing to join our team in a hybrid role, with our Head Office located at West Kempsey. Previous experience in product governance and product development, ideally in retail banking, will be highly regarded.
About the role
As the Senior Manager of Marketing for Coastline Bank, you will lead the marketing function, developing and executing multichannel strategies that acquire, retain, and strengthen customer relationships. This is a hands‑on leadership role, where you will balance strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution, actively contributing to the planning, delivery, and optimisation of marketing initiatives. Your work will enhance customer loyalty, elevate the brand, and support growth across the deposits and loans portfolios. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organisation to drive Coastline Bank’s growth objectives and deliver the overarching marketing plan
Responsibilities:
Brand Management
Continue building the Coastline Bank brand, develop and execute marketing plans to deliver on brand strategy, build brand awareness and attract target market customers and ensure branding standards are met across all materials
Marketing Activity
Develop and execute the bank's Marketing Plan in line with business objectives and Marketing KPIs and deliver customer and product acquisition targets
Develop and deliver a customer lifecycle management plan across the customer and product portfolio and develop new financial product offers
Develop and deliver a loyalty and retention strategy
Content and Events
Develop and execute content marketing to support delivery of the Marketing Plan
Support delivery of key content activities as required e.g. Year in Review publication, Annual Report, AGM etc.
Oversight and alignment of social media with brand and marketing plan
Lead a team that delivers a wide range of community events
Customer Experience
Identify and implement experience strategies for key customer journeys in line with customer lifecycle management plan
Deliver an exceptional online customer experience across all digital channels
Customer Analytics & Reporting
Develop and implement customer analytics and reporting capability
Uplift marketing ROI analytics and investment planning
Marketing Capability
Help build and shape the operating environment.
Streamline marketing processes for cost savings and ROI
Ensure investment in marketing technology and capability development
Contribute to wider cross marketing initiatives – e.g. CRM activities, digital experience, brand strategy and product development
Manage agency partners
Manage allocated budget, with a focus on ROI
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures,
and statutory requirements
Provide leadership to our small marketing team
Foster a team culture of trust, respect, and performance
Facilitate learning and development opportunities for team members
Support cross‑departmental collaboration to increase marketing effectiveness
What you need to succeed
Relevant tertiary qualifications & credentials
3+ years of experience in brand management and marketing (preferably in a financial services setting)
Proven track record in strategic marketing and leadership
Demonstrated experience in project management and leading teams
