Lead solution and integration architecture across low-code, cloud and enterprise platforms for government and enterprise clients.

- Own end-to-end solution architecture for workflow-driven, low-code and integrated systems
- Design secure, scalable Azure-based architectures aligned to government security frameworks
- Canberra-based role with direct client engagement across architecture and technical governance

Join Us to Deliver Work That Matters

We are seeking an Architect at Manager level to lead solution and integration architecture for workflow-driven applications, low-code platforms and system integrations delivered to government and enterprise clients. You’ll shape technical direction across engagements, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to client and regulatory requirements.

This is a senior technical role for someone who enjoys translating strategic and business requirements into robust architecture, guiding delivery teams, and engaging directly with client technical and security stakeholders. You’ll work across solution design, integration architecture, cloud infrastructure and security compliance, partnering with delivery leads, developers, business analysts and client architects.

What You'll Do

This role spans solution architecture, integration design, security assurance and technical governance. In practice, this looks like:

- Own end-to-end solution architecture for low-code, workflow-driven and integrated application delivery.
- Design secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures, including identity, API management and data integration patterns.
- Translate business and technical requirements into architecture designs, standards and delivery guidance.
- Lead architecture governance, including design reviews, technical assurance and alignment to security frameworks (e.g. PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight).
- Define integration architecture across APIs, service buses and third-party systems.

- Support compliance activities, including Authority to Operate processes and security accreditation input.
- Guide developers and technical leads on architecture decisions, patterns and non-functional requirements.
- Engage directly with client architects, security assessors and senior stakeholders on solution design and technical risk.

What You'll Bring

We’re looking for an experienced architect with strong technical depth across cloud, integration and low-code platforms, sound judgement in balancing security, scalability and delivery pace, and the confidence to lead architecture conversations with senior client stakeholders.

Due to the nature of the work, you will hold, or be eligible to obtain, and maintain an AGSVA security clearance. Please note, eligibility for security vetting requires Australian citizenship.

In addition, to be considered, you’ll need:

- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect or Integration Architect on complex ICT delivery programs.
- Strong experience designing Azure cloud architectures, including compute, integration, identity and data services.
- Experience with low-code or configurable application platforms and workflow architecture.
- Strong understanding of API-first and event-driven integration patterns, including REST and OpenAPI standards.
- Working knowledge of security frameworks relevant to government delivery, such as PSPF, ISM or Essential Eight.
- Experience producing architecture artefacts, including solution designs,

integration diagrams and non-functional requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.

The following will also be highly regarded:

- Experience architecting solutions on platforms such as WorQ, Power Platform, ServiceNow or Appian.
- Azure certification (e.g. Solutions Architect Expert) or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience supporting IRAP assessments, Authority to Operate processes or formal security accreditation.
- Experience with identity verification, biometric or digital identity integration patterns.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Experience working in APS, government or regulated delivery environments.
- Experience contributing to bid responses, solution costing or technical proposals.

About the Opportunity

This role is based in Canberra and offers the opportunity to shape architecture across multiple government and enterprise engagements, with room to grow into broader enterprise architecture and technical leadership responsibilities. We’ll support relevant learning across cloud certifications, security accreditation processes and architecture frameworks.
