We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Australian manufacturer seeking an experiencedProduction Plannerto play a key role in coordinating production schedules, materials and workflow.
This is more than just a scheduling position.
You'll work closely with production, purchasing and operations to ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently while supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
About the Role
Reporting into the Operations team, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to maximise efficiency, meet customer deadlines and support day-to-day manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules
Coordinate workflow across manufacturing operations
Monitor production capacity and resource availability
Liaise with purchasing to ensure materials are available when required
Work closely with production supervisors to achieve on-time delivery




Monitor work orders and adjust schedules as priorities change
Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
Maintain accurate production planning data and reporting
About You
You'll be an organised and forward-thinking planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in Production Planning, Production Scheduling or Manufacturing Coordination
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Robust planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience using ERP/MRP systems
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
The ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
