The Prospect
We're looking for a Quality Engineering Architect / Test Automation Architect to join a key client engagement.
This is not a pure hands‐on automation role — we're looking for someone who can design, shape, and uplift automation capability, while still being technically credible.
You'll work closely with engineering and delivery teams to define what good looks like, and lead the approach to get there.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive automation strategy across programs and teams
Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks
Translate business and functional requirements into automation architecture
Uplift existing automation capability and introduce best practices
Work across UI, API, and integration layers
Embed automation into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments




Provide technical leadership and guidance to QE and engineering teams
Drive continuous improvement and quality maturity
Skills & Experience (Required)
Proven experience in a QE Architect / Automation Architect / Senior Automation Lead role
Strong experience designing and building:
Experience across:
API testing, UI automation, and integration testing
Strong understanding of:
CI/CD, DevOps, and modern delivery practices
Experience working across multiple teams / programs
Ability to translate strategy into practical implementation

Someone with an "architecture mindset" — able to design solutions, not just execute
Transparent opinion on best practice and how to achieve it
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to take initiative and lead from the front
Nice to Have
Experience building or scaling automation accelerators / reusable frameworks
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Experience in banking, government, or enterprise environments
