The Opportunity

This is a fantastic entry point into a rewarding career in viticulture. As our Trainee Vineyard Manager, you will work hands‑on in our vineyard under the mentorship of our experienced vineyard manager, developing the skills and knowledge needed to grow into a vineyard management role.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with all aspects of seasonal vineyard operations including pruning, canopy management, vine maintenance, and harvest
- Operate and maintain vineyard machinery and equipment
- Monitor vine health, identify pest and disease issues, and assist with integrated pest management programs
- Assist with irrigation scheduling and water management




- Maintain accurate records of vineyard activities and inputs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of vineyard practices and sustainability initiatives

About You

- A genuine passion for viticulture, agriculture, or the wine industry
- A physically fit individual, comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- A current driver's licence (forklift licence and chemical certification an advantage, but not essential)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team attitude
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions and procedures
- Prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, or a vineyard setting is welcomed but not required
