SuperEasyStorage is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver & Storage Removalist to join our warehousing and distribution team in Blacktown, NSW. This is a fulltime position offering a outstanding opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment. As a Forklift Driver & Storage Removalist, you will play a crucial role in our daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials. Key responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack and retrieve goods within the warehouse
- Perform storage and removal tasks, including loading and unloading of vehicles and containers with precision and care
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately
- Follow all relevant health, safety and environmental procedures, including adherence to workplace safety protocols and regulations
- Assist in organising warehouse inventory and maintaining accurate stock records as required
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, removing hazards and obstructions from work areas
- Respond promptly to supervisor instructions and communicate any operational concerns or safety issues
What we're looking for
- A valid forklift licence (High-Reach or Counterbalance certification essential)
- Proven experience as a Forklift Driver or in a similar warehouse and logistics role
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and a commitment to safe working practices
- Excellent manual handling skills and the physical ability to perform lifting and moving tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory control is advantageous
- A valid driver's licence is desirable
