Passive Fire Auditor
Silverwater, NSW | Full-Time | $115,000–$160,000 + Super
About the Company
Our client is a well-established and respected fire protection company based in Silverwater, specialising in fire protection consultation, installation, certification, and compliance across commercial, residential, and construction projects.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Auditor to join their team. In this role, you’ll conduct site inspections, compliance audits, and prepare detailed reports while working closely with builders, contractors, and clients to ensure passive fire systems meet Australian Standards and compliance requirements.

- Salary: $115,000–$160,000 + Super (depending on experience)

About the Role
As a Passive Fire Auditor, you will conduct site inspections and compliance audits across residential and commercial projects, ensuring passive fire systems meet Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site-based passive fire audits and compliance inspections
- Identify defects, non-compliance issues, and risks within passive fire systems
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including photographic evidence and recommendations
- Assess fire compartmentation, service penetrations, and fire-stopping systems
- Assist with Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) inspections and documentation
- Liaise with builders, contractors, clients, and key stakeholders to achieve compliance outcomes
- Maintain a high standard of technical knowledge and industry best practice
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Passive Fire Auditor, Passive Fire Technician, or Passive Fire Installer
- Solid understanding of passive fire systems, Australian Standards, and compliance requirements
- Experience preparing detailed inspection and audit reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A current driver’s licence
- FPAS Accreditation (highly regarded but not essential)
