AustCorp Executive is partnering with a leading provider of underground mining technologies. The company specialises in engineering and supplying creative equipment and services to the mining industry, both in Australia and Internationally.
Due to continued growth, we are actively recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Perth, WA.
As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Oversee the whole design process and sign off on analysis work (FEA or CFD) – review and verify design and technical documentation to assure accuracy.
Manage a small team of engineers in your Mechanical discipline to effectively delegate tasks and optimise production.
Prepare technical engineering reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Project manage your team and product portfolio proactively and reactively.
Collaborate internally with production and management to ensure quality assurance and management of finished products
A little bit about you:
A degree qualified engineer with 8 + years’ experience with designing rotating equipment or ventilation systems
Experience managing or mentoring a team of junior engineers
Experience using CREO, ANSYS, Windchill (Highly Regarded)
Experience with the design of Rotating Equipment (Fans, turbines etc)
Experience working to Australian Standards
