Then we might be looking for you. We are looking for an Accounts Payable/Assistant Accountant to join our team in Matraville as a Permanent Full Time employee, reporting to the Finance Manager - NZ.
You will focus on our Recent Zealand operations for Financial Reporting and Accounts Payable for Key Supplier Accounts for both our AU & NZ Operations along with all NZ Vendors.
What will you do?
Manage Accounts Payable for Key Supplier Accounts
Assist with the month end processing and reporting
Perform the inputs for month end journals and detailed analysis for the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Participating in the Year End Audit
Assist with Budget workings
Assist with the GST Returns
Adhoc Tasks/Projects as required
What do we expect from you?
Min 2 years’ experience in similar role
A degree qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
MS Excel skills are at an intermediate level or higher
Able to manage different stakeholders and have excellent communication skills
Have a keen eye for detail and is able to work in a quick-paced setting
