About the role:
- Processing fortnightly payroll and off-cycle payments accurately and on time
- Reviewing and validating time and attendance records
- Interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and payroll legislation
- Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
- Investigating and resolving payroll queries from employees and managers
- Reviewing payroll reports, reconciliations, and journals
- Supporting payroll compliance activities and legislative requirements
- Assisting with process improvement initiatives and system enhancements
- Building robust relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
About you:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience, preferably within a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements
- Experience using payroll and HRIS systems
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
