As a Pipe Layer based in the Wollongong and South Coast region. This is a full-time position that will see you play a crucial role in the construction of essential civil projects.
What you'll be doing
- Install pipes for stormwater, sewer, and water mains according to project specifications
- Prepare trenches for pipe installation, ensuring accurate depth and alignment
- Backfill trenches and complete restoration works
- Connect pipes, fittings, and related components using appropriate tools and methods
- Installation of pipes to ensure they meet required standards
- Maintain a protected and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols
- Collaborate with site Supervisor to ensure the successful completion of projects
What we're looking for
- A current NSW driver’s license
- A valid White Card
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pipe laying of storm water and sewer pipes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
specifications, and plans
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work both in a team and independently
- Excavator VOC highly regarded
- Sydney Water accreditation NWPNET040 & NWPNET050
