PCF Contractors pty ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contracting company based in Emu Plains, NSW 2750. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance and repairs across a variety of projects. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
What you'll be doing
- Installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs to electrical installations and systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints and technical specifications
- Troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing appropriate corrective measures
- Conducting electrical inspections and providing detailed reports on findings
- Ensuring all work sites are kept safe and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Adhering to company policies, procedures and quality standards at all times
What we're looking for
- Current recognised electrical trade qualification or apprenticeship completion in your state or territory
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to attend job sites
- Proven experience working as an Electrician in commercial, residential or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and relevant legislation, including the National Construction Code and Australian Standards
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a skilled approach to customer interactions
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry practices
- A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one where required
