As an experienced Boilermaker at Brown Contracting Solutions, you will play a vital role in the construction, maintenance and repair of industrial infrastructure. This full-time position offers the prospect to work for a well-established company in the Hunter Valley mining industry.

What you’ll be doing

- Interpreting drawings and specifications for fabrication, installation and repair tasks
- Working on a vast range of CHPP & material handling projects
- Assisting the team with the development of JSA's & work permits
- Collaborating with the team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards
- Structural integrity of site infrastructure
- Installation of structural steel & components

What we’re looking for

- Formal qualifications in Boilermaking
- Highly desirable - experience in coal handling preparation plants (CHPP) maintenance, structural Integrity, installation and modifications to structural steel & platework
- Additional skills though not essential including MDG25, EWP, WAH & rigging/dogging tickets
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic - a must!




- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
