About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial construction projects while representing Megaplex Construction with professionalism and integrity. You will oversee every aspect of project delivery, including planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, stakeholder engagement, contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource planning.
- Great communication with clients.
- Monitor project costs,



variations, procurement, and financial performance.
- Coordinate all trades, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and authorities.
- Chair and lead project meetings, client meetings, subcontractor meetings, and progress meetings.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve project issues.
- Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve project milestones and successful handovers.
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management.

Essential Requirements

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-rise residential, commercial buildings, mixed-use developments, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction methods, job forecasting, contracts, building regulations, and project delivery.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.




- Extensive experience managing subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and construction trades.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, project costing, forecasting, and programme management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to lead meetings and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related discipline.
- Current Australian Driver License.
