About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting our dentists and ensuring every patient has a positive and comfortable experience.

Your responsibilities

- Assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Sterilising and maintaining instruments in accordance with infection control standards
- Providing exceptional patient care and support throughout their visit
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Assisting with stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
- Supporting reception when required, including appointment scheduling and patient enquiries
- Ensuring the practice is clean, organised and operating efficiently

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, professional and compassionate
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills




- Well organised with great attention to detail
- Able to work efficiently in a busy team environment
- Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn
- Committed to providing outstanding patient care

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred but not essential)
- A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures
- Experience with dental practice management software (an advantage)
- Current Working With Children Check
