Support one of Australia's most advanced Defence capabilities, delivering cyber security assurance and accreditation across the F‑35A Lightning II program.

Setting the scene…

This Defence program is responsible for supporting the acquisition and sustainment of Australia's F‑35A Lightning II capability- the Royal Australian Air Force's fifth-generation stealth fighter and a critical component of Australia's national security capability. As part of this team, you'll work within a highly classified environment alongside Defence personnel and industry partners, helping protect the ICT systems that underpin one of Australia's most sophisticated Defence programs.

What will you be doing?

- Acting as the key contact for operational ICT and cyber security enquiries.
- Delivering cyber readiness, security assurance and system authorisation activities.
- Providing expert advice across cyber security, governance and compliance matters.
- Planning and conducting ICT certification and accreditation activities in accordance with ASIG and RMF, including environments supporting Special Access Programs (SAP).
- Developing Assessment & Authorisation (A&A;) artefacts and providing risk-based recommendations.
- Managing ICT security requirements through planning, implementation and verification activities.




- Supporting capability development while ensuring compliance with Defence security frameworks and policies.
- Producing high-quality security documentation and resolving complex system security issues.

What you'll bring

- Experience delivering ICT security assurance, certification and accreditation activities.
- Strong understanding of cyber security governance, risk management and compliance.
- Experience working within Defence or other highly regulated environments.
- The ability to build solid relationships with technical teams, project personnel and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) Security Clearance.
