Radiam Early Learning Pty Ltd (trading as Sagewood Early Learning) has been formed by an experienced team of passionate professionals within the Australian childcare industry. Through a unique blend of learning programs, we deliver bespoke, boutique learning experiences that are personalised to each child. Everything we do is based on our three foundational values — nurture, love, inspire. Creating secure environments where children play, discover, and explore under the guidance of nurturing and passionate educators. Sparking a genuine love of learning — in a loving atmosphere —by encouraging curiosity, imagination, and creativity through all play and activities. Blending credible learning methodologies with Montessori Reggio and Steiner to inspire and equip children as they learn. We are currently looking for a dedicated Child Care Worker to join our Woodvale team on a full-time basis.

Qualifications & experience

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current National Police Clearance Certificate

- Current approved First Aid Certificate and CPR

- A solid understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 0-5years

- Diploma in Children’s services or as recognized by ACECQA Montessori Qualifications and or formal training

Tasks & responsibilities

Provide a vibrant, compelling, varied, and appropriate children’s program that is developed and implemented to meet the ongoing needs of the children as per the Early Years Learning Framework. Ensure that the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the company are upheld, implemented and reviewed regularly to meet relevant requirements. Maintain compliance with the regulations as prescribed by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit along with all legal and statutory requirements. Encourage staff and families of Sagewood to actively contribute to the quality and success of the Centre. Ensure that a sense of belonging and respect prevails at the centre between children, educators, and families always. Execute the daily operations and adhere to the structures to ensure an early learning program and care of the highest standard. Respect and provide support and inclusion for all children, regardless of gender, cultural background or socio-economic status. Lead activities for the children to develop motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understanding. Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and language.

Salary

If successful, you will be paid a salary between approximately $75,000 - $80,000 per annum.
