We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Transport Coordinator to manage and optimise our national freight movements. In this fast‑paced role, you’ll be the key link between our drivers, customers, and operations team—ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and allocate local and linehaul runs across the national network

Manage entire contracts from end to end, including local pickups and last mile deliveries

Working with customer direct pickups and deliveries, and crossdock pickups and deliveries

Monitor fleet movements and adjust schedules in real time

Liaise with drivers, depots, and customers to ensure smooth operations

Manage driver compliance with fatigue, safety, and chain‑of‑responsibility requirements





Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally

Accurately maintain transport management system (TMS)

Support continuous improvement in fleet utilisation and service performance

What You’ll Bring

5+ years’ experience in transport allocation and logistics coordination

Strong understanding of linehaul and local operations and driver compliance

Solid understanding of interstate and local routes, travel and loading times and rest breaks

Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills

Ability to multitask, make rapid decisions and remain calm under pressure

Proficiency with transport management systems (TMS)

A team‑focused mindset with a commitment to safety and service
