Great Centre Directors don't just manage rosters and compliance. They build culture. They develop great educators. They create an environment where children thrive, families feel welcome, and teams genuinely love coming to work.
At Early Learners of Ruse, you'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of your centre with the support of a leadership team that trusts your experience and backs your decisions. We believe the best centres are led by empowered leaders, with the freedom to lead in their own way.
About the role
As Centre Director, you'll lead every aspect of the centre, from developing your team and building strong family relationships to maintaining high standards of education, care and compliance. You'll have the autonomy to make an impact while being supported by an experienced leadership team that's invested in your success.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staffing, compliance, quality improvement and financial performance.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve occupancy and business goals.
Build strong, genuine relationships with families, the local community and regulatory authorities.
Ensure the centre consistently meets legislative and regulatory requirements.
Support and oversee the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
Coach, mentor and develop educators to help them grow professionally and reach their full potential.

At least five years' leadership experience within the early childhood sector.
Robust understanding of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.
Sound commercial and financial management skills.
Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building abilities.
A genuine passion for high-quality early learning and care.
The ability to build a positive team culture and inspire those around you.
At The ELO Group, we're committed to creating an environment where both children and our people can thrive. We know that great centres are built by great leaders, which is why we invest in supporting our Centre Directors with the tools, guidance and opportunities they need to succeed.
Generous childcare fee discounts for your own children.
Ongoing professional development and leadership training.
Access to our employee wellbeing program and mental health support.
Opportunities for career progression across our growing group.
Flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance.
