Position Summary
We are looking for a driven sales professional to join our dynamic team. The Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in our practice and patient journey by managing the sales and financial aspect of patient consultations and sign-up conversions, providing comprehensive treatment plans, and driving the sales process to close implant leads through various methods of financing. This position requires a combination of exceptional sales acumen, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Consultations
- Welcome and greet patients warmly, showing empathy and curiosity for each patient
- Assist in explaining treatment plans and procedures as set by the dentist, in particular the financial aspects of treatment
- Guide patient through hospital admissions applications and data collection for General Anaesthetic screening
- Explain and guide patients through their tailored financial options, close the deal and ensure a high sales conversion is maintained
Treatment Coordination
- Work closely with our in-house bookings department and patient concierge to map out patient journeys involving surgical appointments and related appointments
- Maintain relationships with third-party financing partners to ensure seamless processes for patients who are accessing finance assistance for treatment
- Maintain ongoing relationships with the patient pre-surgery to ensure their finance applications and clerical needs are thoroughly completed ready for booking
Follow-Up and CRM
- Actively seek to close current business through paid and organic sales channels and follow-up with previous consultation patients who have not yet converted
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, helping colleagues where necessary to achieve team goals
- Maintain a healthy inbound/outbound call and e-mail schedule to boost follow-up conversion
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including sensitive health records
- Enter data across digital platforms to ensure accurate financial housekeeping and sales pipeline maintenance
- Maintain regular patient contact logs and accurate notes regarding conversations, changes in treatment, changes in financial capacity
- Process financial arrangements and assist with insurance claims as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and practice policies.
Education and Experience
Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred but not necessary
Proven track record in sales or customer-facing service roles with a conversion component
Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of dental terminology and implant procedures is a plus
